Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"This restaurant is the best of all the restaurants in Wai chai I visited HK this time , don’t need to Q to have seat , others on the Main Street , always long Q . And the toilet is in side the restaurant , big and clean , the food was on the top list as well. Only 2 things : noisy & poor service, the receptionist, waiter/waitress are a littler bit rude . They forgot my other 2 orders . Was waiting for more than 30 mins. Total orders 9-10 dishes , only 7 on the the table."
"This is probably in my top 3 authentic dim sum places in HK. I came here excited to try the food and also to spend time with my long time friend in HK since 2006. Food: I would say after trying other old time running dimsum places, I can compare that their hakao was best I tried. I love their chicken feet too. The stir fry noodle with beef was something new since we usually just order dimsum. Over all I enjoyed every dish. Im starting to consider HK dimsum as my comfort food from now on. Service: Was great, they have many waiters that will assist and tend to your request. You wont wait that long. Atmosphere: I love the vibe, you will see group of friends, families, kids, local elderly all enjoying their food. It was busy but comfortabe, we didnt have to share table. Most of all it is walking distance from Wan Chai train stan"
"Awesome Chinese restaurant that serves fantastic Guangdong cuisine and Dim Sum. Centrally located at Wan Chai district. Big restaurant with nice decorations. Meals are delicious and plenty of choices."
" A Cantonese seafood haven, traditional in its art, Yummy dishes that delight, warming the heart, Winter Melon soup, a soothing brew, Gigantic Australian lobster with noodles, a feast for a few, BBQ pork, a savory delight, that's true. Attentive staff, with care they attend, Water tank, home to fish and lobsters, a bubbling blend, AJ's suggestion, a thought to extend, Cleaner utensils and space, a dining experience to transcend."
"Nice enjoyable dinner, good menu and quality food. Very busy loud restaurant added to the atmosphere, good service"
"Fair quality lunch (yum cha) with standard options. Cha siu is a bit chewy (too lean, flavour normal). Radish cake is nicely fried."
"Food quality has kept to its standard all these years !"
"It was fine. Dim sum were good, if only lacking a bit of wow. Perfectly adequate for staples. Service was good. Reasonable spacing for social distancing. Price OK too, 800hkd for 6."
